Man in court for indecently touching three-year-old girl

A man has been charged at a Kibera Court for allegedly touching the private parts of a three-year-old girl indecently.

Alphonce Kaunga was charged before Kibera Senior Resident Magistrate William Lorot where he denied the charges.

The court heard that the accused person committed the offence On January 5, at Kibarange Slums in Kangemi Sub-County within Nairobi County while the mother of the victim was away.

In court, the prosecution did not object to his release on bond but said that the offence was serious.

The prosecution further told the court that it was ready to supply the accused person with all the witness statements and documentary evidence that it would rely on during the entire trial.
