Co-operative Bank of Kenya has announced the auction of 65 commercial trucks, offering prospective buyers an opportunity to acquire Hino FC500 vehicles at reserve prices starting from KSh250,000.

The trucks, all manufactured in 2014, will be sold through the bank’s online vehicle sales platform, with reserve prices varying depending on the individual units.

According to the auction notice, the vehicles have reserve prices ranging from KSh250,000 to KSh2.5 million.

Two of the trucks have the highest reserve price of KSh2.5 million. They are registration numbers KCW 523H and KCZ 571A, both of which are currently held at the Bungoma Safe Keepers Yard.

At the other end of the scale, truck KCZ 584A has the lowest reserve price at KSh250,000.

The vehicles are distributed across three storage facilities in Bungoma, Naivasha and Thika.

The majority of the trucks are stored at the Bungoma Safe Keepers Yard, while a smaller number are held at the Naivasha Auto Storage Yard. One truck, registration number KCU 318A, is being held at Capitol Diamond Storage in Thika and has a reserve price of KSh1.65 million.

Other trucks on offer include KCU 302A, valued at KSh1.632 million, KCU 328A at KSh2.01 million, KCU 345A at KSh2.045 million and KCZ 624A at KSh2.2 million.

Several units have reserve prices below KSh500,000, including KCU 346A at KSh270,000, KCU 316A at KSh300,000, KCZ 588A at KSh320,000 and KCZ 585A and KCZ 595A, each priced at KSh350,000.

The auction gives transport operators, logistics companies, traders and other interested buyers an opportunity to acquire commercial vehicles at varying price points.

Co-op Bank has directed all interested bidders to submit their offers online through its dedicated vehicle sales portal. Physical or offline bids will not be accepted.

The deadline for submitting bids is August 24, 2026.

Prospective buyers seeking additional information about the vehicles and the auction process can contact Co-operative Bank through its designated contact channels.

The sale is part of the bank’s vehicle disposal process, with the listed units being offered to the public through a competitive bidding process.

Potential buyers are expected to conduct the necessary due diligence before submitting their bids and should confirm the condition, location and other details of their preferred vehicles through the bank’s auction platform.
