As we speak, the population of Nairobi is made of 0.0005% Presidents and Head of State or Government. If you count every 200,000 people in Nairobi right now, one is a President. More than half of the 54 Presidents of Africa slept in Nairobi this week. Every major hotel in Nairobi (including Sabina Joy) hosted, fed or entertained a President, a Presidential delegation or at least a Presidential aide (including Presidential detail, mistresses or hangons and what have you). If we are to go by established norms of Presidential visits that each President carried a high level delegation of at least 30 officials, that is not less than 1,000 VVIPs in Nairobi. If we assume, in all modesty, that each member of every Presidential delegation spent at least 6,000 dollars in Nairobi (at prevailing international per diem rates), our Hospitality Industry got a shot in the arm of of more than Ksh. 1 Billion in a matter of 3 nights and 2 days. Thanks to the industry and acceptance of President William Samoei Ruto across Africa:
