Co-operative Bank of Kenya on September 28 sponsored tens of its Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) customers to Vietnam and Malaysia.

In a statement, the bank said the customers would begin their visit in the heart of Hainoi the epicenter of textile, leather, footwear, electronics, and hardware businesses in the region.

“Co-op Bank MSME customers visited a pearls cultivation and harvesting business in Halong Bay Vietnam, sampled the processing of actual Pearls, and eventually sampled the jewelry end product to see an example of a successful end-to-end application of the value chain concept,” the bank said.
