Azimio leader Raila Odinga has condemned the invasion of East Africa Spectre Limited along Mombasa Road and the Kenyatta family-owned land along the Eastern Bypass, Ruiru.

Raila described the acts as those of cowardice.

“Wale wanakwenda kuvamia shamba za wengine na viwanda, Wale ni waoga (Those invading other people’s lands and companies. Those are cowards),” he said.

Speaking in Kibra on Monday, he maintained that the Azimio outfit remained firm in its stance.

He urged Azimio supporters to show up for peaceful demonstrations on Thursday.

He expressed confidence that they will succeed in their quest to have President William Ruto heed their demands.

On Monday, unknown people invaded the EA Spectre, which is a gas cylinder manufacturing and distribution company linked to the Raila Odinga family.

The firm’s security and safety manager Humprey Waswa told the media that the attack happened at around 11:30 am.

He said about 50 people had arrived at the company on motorbikes and started the attack.

“They were being supported by four unmarked vehicles, Land cruiser and we suspect that their target was our managing director because her office is the one that has been damaged so much,” he said.
