President William Ruto has assured the residents of Kerio Valley that his government will take decisive measures to ensure security and peace in the region.
Speaking during an Interdenominational thanksgiving service at Kabarnet ASK Showground in Baringo County, Ruto said that the government is determined to end cattle rustling.
“We will ensure this region is peaceful, we want our children to go to school and the people to focus on meaningful economic activities,” he said.
During campaigns, Ruto promised to deploy enough security officers to end banditry in the Kerio Valley if he was elected president.
