Fire razes Musa Nyandusi Kegati dormitory

A dawn fire razed a dormitory at Musa Nyandusi Kegati High School in Nyaribari Chache, Kisii, destroying property of unknown value.

The cause of the fire that broke out on Tuesday morning is yet to be established.

Police and officials said there were no casualties in the incident.

Eric Ratemo, a local chief, said at least 77 students lost their property.

“The fire has been contained and there is no cause for alarm, all students are safe,” said Ratemo.
