Malawi’s president set to meet Uhuru at State House

Malawi’s President Lazarus Chakwera is set to arrive in Kenya on Tuesday, October 19 for a three-day State visit.

Mr. Chakwera, who will be accompanied by First Lady Monica Chakwera, will be the Chief Guest at this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations that will be held at Wang’uru Stadium in Kirinyaga County on Wednesday.

In a statement issued on Monday, State House spokesperson Kanze Dena said the Malawian President and his delegation will be officially received at State House, Nairobi by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday.
