Kenya on Monday recorded 73 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the country’s total caseload to 41,619.
This was from a sample of 2,001 tested in the last 24 hours. Cumulative tests are now 593,199
From the cases, 46 are males and 27 females.
The Ministry of Health in a statement confirmed 70 were Kenyans while three were foreigners.
Age-wise, the youngest is 17 years old, while the oldest is 77 years.
On a positive note, 97 patients have been discharged after successful recoveries raising the country’s recovery total to 31,097.
Out of this, 31 were discharged from the home-based care program while 66 were from various health facilities.
Sadly, 11 patients succumbed to the disease bringing the country’s fatalities to 777.
